Friends Listing
I know this happened to me pleanty of times. Pretend one day your having alot of fun with a guy and then you want to add him to friend for future things. One week later I see him on my firends list thinking, "Who is he?"
So the idea is when you highlight a friend on your friends list a little box will apear. In that box you can edit and type something in for
example:
Friends:
Lithe Swordsmen.________________________
.......................| We did UW together. Very |
.......................| skilled with swords, knows |
.......................| what hes doing. :EDIT: |
.......................|_______________________|
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
This happened to me alot of times when i cant remember why, or even if you add someone for auction and want to buy something just put the weapon name in the editing box.
Well for one, I aggre on this.
Why not have it like trillian... you
-can add notes about the person, like their real name...AND use it as the contact name in the list
-see their avatar (probably not applicable/feasible here)
-notification when they log on
-can put them in categories
-can pick which name to show as primary (like if they have multiple screenames/usernames)
I too have run into this issue. I'll have someone on the list, and be wondering what the heck I put them there for. :/
Although I rarely run into the problem of not knowing who whispered me, I have seen this suggestion before and think it would be wonderful to be able to add personal notes about each person on a friends list. It would come in handy a lot, especially in the case of me needing to write "Remember to put up the Chat Filter when talking with this one."
apart from the suggestion of log-on notifcation /signed
with log on notifcation, every time they switch char you get a note, can be a bit annoying if they are checking all 6 slots for materials.
